I understand the decision to start therapy is not always an easy one, but I feel passionate about helping people understand themselves and their relationships. I specialize in treating couples and families who are struggling to stay close and connected, and I use Emotionally-Focused Therapy to foster greater intimacy and trust in their relationships. EFT is one of the most empirically validated models of couples therapy and has been shown to significantly reduce conflict and distress in relationships. EFT helps couples identify their negative cycles of interaction, so they can develop new patterns that encourage more responsiveness and trust within the relationship. I believe that taking the time to focus on your relationship is a worthy investment that will be rewarding for years to come.
While it is usually ideal to have your partner with you when addressing relationship issues in therapy, I understand this is not always possible. Individual therapy is also an effective way to improve the quality of your relationships, and I am happy to support my clients in that journey.
Please contact me to determine if my practice is the right fit for you. My rate is $120 per 50 minute session. I do not accept insurance, but I can provide an invoice at the end of each month for you to submit to your insurance company.
